Learn about our ‘Food Philosophy Beds’ designed to tell the story of 'Soil to Gut'. This experience will include the opportunity to try home-grown and wild foraged teas lovingly created from our agri-wilding site as well as trying your own infusions from plants you select during your edible safari. There will be cake! Our vision at 42 Acres is to be in harmony with nature, self and others. We'll share how we connect with this vision by gardening in a way that works with nature and offers beautiful spaces that invite us to be mindful. We have a herd of pedigree English Longhorn Cattle, Exmoor horn and Exmoor Mule sheep, Large Black pigs and raise small batches of chickens. On Wednesday 19 July we're hosting our own Beef Feast at Wonky Horn, served in a beautifully converted, ancient wooden barn. The menu will include longhorn beef cuts cooked over fire served with chimichurri sauce, seasonal local vegetables from Plowright Organic. From 7pm, tickets £45 each, with wine selected by food critic William Sitwell available to buy. On Friday 28th, meat from Wonky Horn will be part of the Sitwell Supper Club Special Lunch organised for the Food Trail. William Sitwell will be cooking up a storm in his converted Cow Shed.
