We have 15 acres of organic orchards growing mostly dessert apples with trees ranging from one to 30 years old. We also gather apples from similar places where there is a surplus. We make a range of apple juices and ciders with the fruit. and have won Golds at cider championships and Taste of the West.

Field Bakery, located on Gothelney Farm at the foot of the Quantock hills, is a collaboration between Fred the Farmer and Rosy the Baker. Serving freshly baked sourdoughs, coffee, sweet and savoury pastries, uniquely made from diverse grains grown and fresh stonemilled on the farm.

The Reel Nature: Environmental Film Club is holding a free screening on Friday 25 of two short films exploring the role of farming in restoring nature. 'Save Our Wild Isles: Hungry for Change' examines the UK’s food system and its environmental impact, and 'One Last Farm' is the story about Bristol’s last working farm and its fight to protect a wildlife-rich habitat from development. Followed by a panel discussion – join us for a thought-provoking discussion!

British Supreme Champion cidermakers with craft, sparkling and fruit ciders made by Harry and his son Toby from fruit grown in our family orchards. We're holding one of our Cider Saturdays – cider, music and food – on Sat 19, and also offering a couple of Cider Tours. Visit our fantastic new taproom, take an orchard walk, learn the process of making cider and sample our award winning ciders. Our cider shop and taproom are open daily apart from Sundays.

We planted the first parcel of Bacchus vines in 2011 and the main vineyard of Ortega and Pinot Noir the following year. We now have a range of multi-award winning wines.

A visit to Horrell & Horrell is like going to a friend's for dinner, where you bring a bottle, enjoy great food, and let the conversation flow – whilst we take care of everything else. Guests can take in the gardens, and enjoy an aperitif on the lawn or by the fire before dining that celebrates a seasonal, and mostly homegrown harvest at a long sharing table in our old cow barn.

Somerset Markets hold weekly markets in Langport on a Friday and Saturday. The 4th Saturday of every month is a food and drink market, which coincides with the Somerset Food Trail on Saturday 26th July. There will be at least 16 stalls selling a variety of consumable delights!
