About us
Field Bakery, located on Gothelney Farm at the foot of the Quantock hills, is a collaboration between Fred the Farmer and Rosy the Baker. They are working together exploring and multiplying varieties of grain that express unique flavour, nutrition and distinctive traits suited to low input farming. Serving freshly baked sourdoughs, coffee, sweet and savoury pastries, uniquely made from diverse grains grown and fresh stonemilled on the farm.
The Food Trail has now finished.

The bakery will be open Friday 18 and Friday 25 (noon-6pm) offering freshly baked sourdoughs, sweet and savoury bakes alongside hot drinks, pork and beef produced on the farm. Be sure to preorder ahead on the Open Food Network for the full menu. The farm is open to wander around on these two days to visit the piglets and see an agroecological farm in peak summer beauty.
Outside of the Food Trail, the bakery is open to the public each week on Fridays (noon-6pm) except for the first week of the month when it opens on the Saturday (10am-1pm) alongside other local producers.
