About us
Wraxall is one of the oldest vineyards in Somerset, planted more than 50 years ago in 1974, producing award-winning English wines. Today we grow Pinot Noir, Pinot Noir Précoce, Bacchus, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes. Our unique tasting events and meeting space, The View@Wraxall is nestled in amongst the vines. Enjoy spectacular views across Somerset with a glass of wine and local food.
The Food Trail has now finished.
Read on to find out about the kinds of activities offered but be aware that the dates quoted below only relate to July 2025.
Are you putting on a 30-Mile Feast or a tasting?
A tasting, Something else, A tour
We were very proud last year to win the best bacchus in England & Wales for our Bacchus Reserve at the WineGB awards. We love sharing our wines and our stunning vineyard with guests from all over the world.
During the Food Trail, we are thrilled to be welcoming Dan and his team from Noah's Restaurant in Bristol for a night of delicious seafood dishes. Our partnership with Noah's began in 2024 when they added the Wraxall Estate Bacchus to the menu and they are still serving it up alongside the perfectly paired fish dishes.
Noah's is a family run restaurant in Bristol - they celebrate incredible produce, cooked simply, with fish & chips, that most enduring of all the UK food institutions, alongside seasonal catches from the South West’s renowned coastal markets and the icy shores of Scotland. Above all, they always let the fish do the talking. The menu on Friday 25 July includes salt cod croquette, confit tuna belly and Dorset native lobster – see our website for more details.
