Wild Roots, Growing for Wellbeing
Wild Roots Field, Honeymead Lane, Catsham near Baltonsborough
About us
We are a charity-run growing project, growing organic produce to provide food for our volunteers and ingredients for soup lunches here and at our sister site, Hallr Wood, for their forest school activities. Our main emphasis is on horticulture and rural craft activities and we also grow flowers in our healing flower garden for seasonal bouquets.

Something else
Come and join us at the Wild Roots Growing for Wellbeing Project on Monday 21 and Saturday 26. See what we are growing in our accessible raised beds, polytunnel, orchard area and Wellbeing Garden. There will be the opportunity to find our about how we manage our meadow and woodland areas as well as see how we garden in a flood prone area. We will also have demonstrations of rural crafts in our traditional Roundhouse.
Explore the site at your leisure. Light refreshments available in our purpose built garden kitchen. Dogs welcome on leads. The site is level but uneven in places. There is a composting loo and a small carpark.
