Holm X Fire Made
A contemporary restaurant with a real connection to the people and the land. Our menu is driven by the seasons, the environment and our locality in the beautiful Somerset countryside. We work with local farmers, growers, butcher, gamekeepers and fishermen – anyone who shares our love of exceptional ingredients treated with care and respect.

A 30-Mile Feast, a Tasting or Other?
Al fresco, one-off, Latin America-inspired asado feast on the terrace at Holm on Wed 26 – a collaboration between Nicholas Balfe from Holm and Ana Ortiz and Tom Bray of Fire Made. Holm is open daily except Mon & Tues.
More details
We're providing a delicious 30-mile feast that is a one-off Latin America-inspired asado feast alongside our good friends Ana Ortiz and Tom Bray from Firemade (FKA Country Fire Kitchen), as part of the Somerset Food Trail 2023.
Ana and Tom are becoming quite a formidable force on the Somerset food scene. Their company, Firemade, makes some of the most beautiful, hand crafted BBQs, grills and outdoor cooking equipment we've seen. They also regularly cook large-scale feasts for weddings, festivals and experiences in the region, across the country and beyond.
This event will draw upon Ana's Ecuadorian heritage with a menu inspired by latin American flavours using Somerset ingredients cooked entirely outdoors over fire. For the main, there will be lamb cooked 'a la cruz' - on a cross over smouldering embers for many hours until the meat is tender, lightly smoked and thoroughly delicious.
