Our award-winning, 17th century thatched pub and restaurant is set in the heart of this idyllic Somerset village, open every day of the year and oozing charm with traditional flagstone floors, exposed beams, open fires, cosy nooks and crannies and pretty garden. We offer everything from great local ales, inspiring à la carte menu, hearty Sunday lunch and outdoor wood-fired pizzas from the Spring.

We are fortunate to be in a part of the country which is rich in fresh ingredients and our Head Chef works with his team to select dishes which reflect the current pickings of the season. The menu is a versatile combination of gastro dishes and good pub classics, which change regularly. See our sample menus. We are proud of our Taste of the West Gold Award and more recently a 1 star Rosette consistently good reviews for the quality of our food.
