The Queen's Arms
The Queen's Arms Pub, based on the Somerset/Dorset border uses the best of local ingredients. Surrounded by some incredible produce such as Montgomery cheddar, and cider pressed in the village, there is much to celebrate.
Named in honour of Queen Sophia Dorothea the wife of George I, the Queen’s Arms has been serving cider since 1851 when the then landlord, Uriah Parsons, accepted local apples as payment and stored them in the cellar which he then used to brew his own cider and sold at the bar. Today, the pub is a great start or end point for those looking for a country walk with sensational views from the ridge or Cadbury C.astle.
